More Money, More Problems and Debt

Do you feel tired, not physically tired, but financially tired? Are you tired of having money fights with your spouse? Lately, I’ve been having lunches and dinners with families that look weak and unmotivated. As the conversation continues throughout each meal I’ve found that all the problems these couples were having came down to money.

So I asked the question, what would happen to your marriage if money wasn’t an issue, meaning you were wealthy enough to never look at your bank statement every time you make a purchase. Each one of those couples looked at me and then sat back in their chairs and through their hands up in the air as to say, it would be the best thing ever for our marriage.

What I’ve found is that most people think that having more money will make them happier. I understand that money can bring peace of mind but people with more money often have bigger problems. I don’t want to go on a rant about celebrities who are millions of dollars in debt.

The real issue is that people are in debt. That’s the issue. It’s not an income problem, it’s a spending problem. Couples need to get their spending habits in check. When people focus on getting out of debt, something crazy happens; they actually gain traction and start paying off debt.

Having intense focus helps one to take action. So consider what kind of credit cards you have or secured loans that you are trying to pay off. Visit netloans.co.uk for more information about finances.
