I've been doing this for years and its the only way I book hotels, I always get first class. You need to try www.betterbidding.com, thanks for the pushback. They prefer it that way so as to avoid paying commissions to brokers such as PL and Hotels.com. Seems like a obvious ploy to market Priceline.com…I know I can usually get the same rate, if not a better rate through the hotel itself. They prefer it that way so as to avoid paying commissions to brokers such as PL and Hotels.com. I know I worked in the business…and this is why i avoid most of these booking sites and save even more by doing so.
